Just a thought. The U.S. is retiring the infamous A-10 Warthog. Why not just give them to Ukraine, spare parts and all. It would probably cost less than putting them in moth balls in the desert somewhere. There are 218 of them just sitting around waiting for the final word on their obvious fate. Unless.....

I'll defer to you on this one. Sounds like a very practical approach to me. As you probably know, half of the $60 Billion per year that the Biden Administration spent was used to buy weapons and pay military contractors. And 90% of that...so $27B was paid to US companies. So we were not just "giving away" money to Ukraine. The other 50% of aid was very carefully tracked.

So we spent a mere 1% of the federal budget and helped the Ukrainians hold the Russians at bay. Ukraine started to lose ground when Republicans in Congress held up an aid package for six crucial months. And when Trump cut off new aid, the Russians began to conquer new ground. It was so avoidable.....
